Many face the epidemic, problems with the economy, and marginalized groups are still threatened by far-right Nazis. I’m going to be as nice, but as direct as I can be to liberals. If you really “care” about those individuals who are oppressed, and suffer, and want to bring about change, and not just better “your” personal economic lives, I’d suggest that you stop with the hypocrisy of statism and loving your candidate or president, (whoever is applicable.)

We are terrorized, killed, imprisoned, targeted, and denied based on our skin color, language, place of origin, based on a system that has historically made us into an enemy, and convinced you that crime should = punishment. Without even looking into the root causes — Or who’s to blame. Ever since slavery ended in the U.S. black folks have lived in poverty. Historically, it didn’t matter which president was elected, what party they represented. And as in the case of Obama, even color didn’t matter. Some liberals will say, “what about FDR? He championed the New Deal.” There’s a lot I can say about that, but even he didn’t care about black or brown folks. While subjugating the Caribbean islands and oppressing black folks here in the US. They also went after Mexicans during slavery as well, and continue to do so.

As well as the never-ending war on Indigenous ppl. While shouting “this is not America.” In hypocritical fashion, and believing you will elect someone who cares. Maybe you want them to care about you, specifically. Capitalism will not allow them to care for marginalized groups. I could go on all day just with the experience of the African diaspora alone. But, going back to “crime.” I think your idea of crime is centered on what you’ve been told it is — not actually understanding why it even exists.

No one on the “far-left” as it’s described, trusts you or wants what you want. We want to end racism, sexism, LGBTQ-phobia, crime, and poverty however, we seek to get out of the box of limitation, and exploitation that keeps us confined to unjust laws, the “process” of seeking a better world doesn’t include capitalism and the so-called “American Dream.” We know it’s a lie, and as real as Santa Claus.

Calling this stolen land “home of the free” is a lie. There may be more freedom than in some countries like Saudi Arabia with regard to “free speech,” but that’s still not freedom. The original inhabitants have been pushed so far to the margins, it’s made them invisible. The gentrification in neighborhoods that were the homes of black and brown people, has forced them out and has replaced it with vulgar, latte-drinking, yuppies who could care less how the apartment became available. I’m writing this on here only because it’s too long to thread on Twitter.

Anyway, I’m aware my punctuation isn’t good. But it’s not the point of this post. It’s just to remind you that historically you’ve ignored black and brown voices, and no one sees you as the party of reliable “allies.” We never needed allies to begin with, we needed accomplices. You just see us as pet projects to say, “I was involved in Black Lives Matter.” Voting for a segregationist who has not shown any remorse for those who’ve lost their lives, or lost time in prison. Nor has he shown any remorse for siding with Bush II on the war in Iraq. You still go along with harmful policies and stopped wanting to defund police when you were told to. I guess you’re just not able to think for yourselves. As much as you critique the fascist right-wing for parroting Fox talking points, you do the same by parroting your favorite newscast. And under the capitalist system, it continues to harm the earth and all its inhabitants.

If you really want to help, wake up out of your dream state, stop snitching to police departments that look for reasons to kill us, just to protect a billion-dollar corporation’s profits. Corporations that engage in slavery and environmental destruction, steal from their workers at home and abroad, and help us abolish prisons, police, capitalism, racism, and poverty. Stop supporting or keeping quiet when this government sanctions countries and punished the innocent people in those countries, or supporting warmongering fascists like Hilary just because she’s a woman. Until then, you will never be a friend to us. That’s just how it is.
